On 18th December, a video conference was held between the lecturers of the Department of Regional Studies and National Economies, the Faculty of International Relations, Voronezh State University, chaired by Oleg Belenov, Vice-Rector for Economic Development and International Cooperation, Dean of the Faculty, and Pilar Moreno, Director of the Liceus Postgraduate Distance Education Centre (Madrid, Spain).
Among the participants there were also Alexander Udovichenko, Head of the Department, Vladimir Rodionov, Director of the Institute of International Education, and Natalia Zhurbina, Head of the Department for International Cooperation.
The main aim of the on-line meeting was to discuss methodological issues of preparing and organizing the distance learning programme “Regional Studies in Russia” in collaboration with Spanish colleagues: the Liceus company and King Juan Carlos University.
The sides discussed the curriculum and the structure of the programme. Pilar Moreno acquainted VSU lecturers with the structure of the Liceus Centre on-line educational platform which is expected to be used for distance learning.
