VSU teacher participated in a conference in the University of Stirling

On 26th–27th January, the University of Stirling (Scotland) held an international translation conference, where Voronezh State University was represented by a teacher at the Department of Translatology and Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology Irina Charychanskaya.

The conference agenda included a meeting between seven Russian universities (from Saint-Petersburg, Tver, Izhevsk, Ryazan, Kolomna, Orenburg and Voronezh) and the International Partnership Manager of the University of Stirling Beata Chrystal. The participants at the meeting discussed partnership possibilities between the Russian and Scottish universities. Voronezh State University was also offered partnership in the European Graduate Placement Scheme aimed at establishing a work placement model for postgraduate translation students across Europe and increasing the mobility of students and enhancing their employment prospects.
