On 14th–15th March, the International debating tournament deBattle 2015 organised by the regional public organisation Voronezhskiy klub debatov (Voronezh debate club), Voronezh Youth Branch of Russian Political Science Association and Voronezh Region Youth Government supported by the Regional Department of Education, Culture and Youth Policy and Voronezh State University, was held in the the main building of Voronezh State University.
The tournament used the format of British parliamentary debate adopted as the official style of world championships and Russian tournaments. This year, 28 teams representing 20 leading Russian universities from 7 Russian cities – Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Bryansk and Voronezh – competed for the first prize.
