On 16th March, the students of the foreign department of the Philological Faculty of the Voronezh State University visited an event dedicated to songs about the Great Patriotic War that was held in library № 32 named after G.N. Troyepolskiy.
The foreign students learnt about the historical events of the Great Patriotic War and the most famous war songs of the time. The audience enjoyed listening to the songs so much loved by the Russian people which were performed by a musical ensemble "Soldaty Pobedy (Victorious Soldiers). The library staff had distributed brochures with the lyrics of the War songs so the students could sing along.
