On 20 May, track and field competitions between Voronezh universities took place at the sports centre Fakel. The Voronezh university team took part in 44 track and field events and won eighteen sets of medals – 11 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals. The results in the team event were as follows: 1st prize – Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, 2nd prize – VSU, and 3rd prize – Voronezh State Technological University.
The university team is coached by a senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Valentina Karateyeva, and a teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Olga Chalkina.
