The collaboration between Voronezh State University and the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO, Paris, France) started in 1994. Under the cooperation programme, the universities have carried out some joint fundamental and applied research, in addition to developing textbooks and study guides, curricula and syllabi, as well as arranging joint conferences. The partner universities organize guest lectures, promote joint publications and engage in student exchange programmes.
Natalia Golovanova, a third-year student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology specializing in theory and methodology of foreign language teaching, has completed her internship at one of the oldest VSU's partner universities, during the second semester of this academic year.
“The internship at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations enabled me to achieve fluency in the French language and to receive the knowledge which I am sure will prove invaluable during my Master's degree course at VSU, as well as in my professional life as a linguist and an educator”, said Natalia Golovanova.
