From 17th–23rd June, a group of Chinese interns, led by an Associate Professor of the Institute of International Education's Department of the Russian language for international students of Voronezh State University, went on a tour of Saint Petersburg. The trip took place as part of the introductory training of the students in accordance with the extra-curricular activities plan of the Department.
Chinese interns from Sanya, Chongqing, and Shanghai took part in the tour. The students visited the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the cathedrals of St Petersburg, Peterhof, and Tsarskoye Selo, and went on a tour of rivers and canals of the city. They had an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature and the 'white nights'. This trip made a great impression on the students and became the perfect finale for their internship programme at Voronezh State University.
