On September 6th, Buran hockey club held the traditional meeting with its fans before the start of the new season. The meeting began with a performance by the team’s cheerleaders and a slide-show describing the last hockey season (2014–2015).
After that, the Buran coach Alexander Titov, the chief manager Egor Bashkatov, and the director Sergey Tkachev addressed the guests and team-members.
– “I congratulate you all on the start of the new season. Today we meet for the sixth time. I wish the team good games and glorious victories and I wish our fans to see great hockey,”- said Sergey Tkachev.
Then the team were given club T-shirts, with the audience heartily welcoming every member.
Then there was a question session. Fans were interested in such things as who the strongest player is; if there will be more players, who will be the captain, etc. The team, the club director and the coach answered all the questions.
– “I'd like to say thank you to all our guests who supported us greatly during the last season. You won't be disappointed this time either” – said Alexander Titov.
Voronezh State University has collaborated with Buran hockey club since 2014.
