On 15th September, the British company QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) published the results of the QS University Rankings. It has included Voronezh State University for the third year in a row.

In QS World University Rankings 2015 our university was rated 701+ among the best world universities and was placed alongside such universities as Plekhanov's Russian Economic University, National University of Science and Technology "MISiS" and Lobachevsky's Research University. The ranking covers 21 Russian universities among which Voronezh State University takes the 18th position.

'Despite several essential changes introduced in the ranking methodology that considerably influenced many Russian universities our university managed to stay in the ranking. It is an important achievement,' said Zoya Zaitseva – QS Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

It should be noted that all Russian universities included in the ranking are among participants of the the 5-100 Competitiveness Enhancement Programme. Our university does not take part in this programme and does not receive additional financing to enhance international competitiveness. Nevertheless, it has been a regular entrant of the QS World University Rankings.
