On 8 October, a team of Voronezh State University students working on the Village: LIVE project took part in the XVII Russian Agroindustrial Exhibition that was attended by over 2500 enterprises from 64 regions of Russia and 24 countries of the world. The programme included over 60 events, the major one being the agrobusiness forum on developing mutual trade and investments as a prerequisite for sustainable agricultural development of BRICS countries.
At the exhibition, the students presented a five-minute film about their Village: LIVE project, which gave an outline of the massive work done over the course of the summer.
– It was great to see that lots of people found our film interesting; they even stopped to watch it up to the end. In the first half-hour, we handed out over 200 business cards with information about the project. We talked to international delegations about the Village: LIVE project, and the Chinese companies were especially interested; some of them went straight to the project's website on their gadgets. Besides, during the exhibition, we gathered plenty of materials for the new film, which we plan to include in the second season of the project that we have been working on for almost a month now, said Valeriy Popov – a third year student at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics and Head of the project.
