On 8 October, the "Olympic" stadium housed an inter-faculty competition in track-and-field cross. 162 students from 17 faculties of the University took part. The organizers and judges were the teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The arbiter of the competition was Olga Chalkina – a teacher of the department.
The prizes were awarded as follows:
- among the men, the first prize went to the team of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, the runners-up were the students of the Faculty of Geography, Geoecology and Tourism, while the bronze went to the Faculty of Economics.
- among the women, the first prize also went to the team of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, the silver medal was awarded to the students of the Faculty of Pharmaceutics, while the Faculty of Law came third.
