Our team takes part in X Voronezh Region open swimming championship

Between 31 October – 1 November X Voronezh Region open masters swimming championship was held. Traditionally, the competitions took place in a 25-meter swimming pool "Spartak". This year tournament attracted a record number of participants. Fourteen clubs from eighteen cities and towns of Russia, including Moscow, Tver, Perm, Vologda, and Tambov took part in the sport competition. The participants covered 333 swim distances and the teams competed in 32 swimming relays.

This year the competitions were included in the official calender of the Russian Masters Swimming Federation. The authorised representative of the Russian Swimming Federation was an assistant of the Faculty of Physics of Voronezh State University Yury Perin. Yury was not only monitoring compliance by the rules of the International Federation and registering national records established at the competition but also competed in three distances (50 m and 100 m backstroke distances and 100 medley swimming) and took first prizes in them.
