On February 27th, the Faculty of Pharmaceutics held the Final stage of the first students' innovative ideas competition "Pharmacy of the Future".
In the first stage of the competition students were to present their projects in one of the following spheres: chemist's of the future - new approaches to pharmaceutical services; modern information technologies in pharmacy; new ways of demand generation and sales promotion in the pharmaceutical market; innovations in pharmaceutical training; global tendencies and their application for national pharmaceutical business. 12 projects were selected to be presented in the Final.
The jury gave the first prize to two fifth-year students of the Faculty of Pharmaceutics: Margarita Kazmina for the project "Innovative packaging for medicine", and Yulia Biryukova and her project Developing a computer system for prescription forms processing in a pharmacy".
Members of the VSU Research Laboratory for Economics attended the competition and expressed their interest in further collaboration and partnership between the faculties aimed at implementing the best student projects.
