On 15th March, Semen Kurolap, the Head of the Department of Geoecology and Environmental Monitoring of the Faculty of Geography, Geoecology and Tourism of Voronezh State University gave a public lecture “Environmental risk considerations and human health”. This was organised by the Department of Pre-university Education of the VSU Resource Centre in the bookclub of the bookshop Amital.
The audience included Voronezh schoolchildren and students. The lecture and the follow-up discussion brought up issues of global climate change, its consequences, and technogenic pollution in cities, including Voronezh. Additionally, the speaker considered various approaches to the most acute environmental problems of the modern world.
