On 12 April, a manifold delegation from the Joint Students' Board of Voronezh State University took part in the national event “Keep your head up!!” dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Yury Gagarin’s space flight.
At 14.00 sharp, over three thousand Voronezh citizens gathered on Sovetskaya plostchad and released into the air several thousand balloons with symbols of the event to commemorate the heroic deed of the first cosmonaut in the world. The balloons were distributed among the flash mob participants by representatives of Roskosmos State Corporation who were dressed in space suits.
To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the first flight of a human into space, Roskosmos announced 2016 as the year of Yury Gagarin and arranged a number of interesting events.
