On 23 April, the Central park of Voronezh was improved during a volunteer clean-up held in the city of Voronezh. Among the participant of the event were the governor of the Voronezh region Alexey Gordyev and activists from Voronezh student teams, including representatives of student team headquarters of Voronezh State University. Another participant of the clean-up was a vice general manager of the National State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Yevgeny Revenko. In total, over 100 people, including representatives of governmental authority youth movements and public organisations, contributed to the city clean-up.
The governor and the student team members planted 24 Serbian spruces in the Central park. The trees were planted as a part of the regional conversation event "Park Movement" that is being held in the Voronezh region between 15 April and 5 June 2016. These dates also coincide with the "National Days of Protection against Environmental Hazards".
After the clean-up, Alexey Gordeyev and representatives of the student team headquarters discussed issues relating to holding the third term of the student team events. The students also presented the governor with a student team jacket and invited him to take part in the opening ceremony of the third term of student team events that will be held at the end of May.
