On April 29, an annual entertainment contest, Miss Physics, was held by the Faculty of Physics in the University Hall.
The contest started with a dance by all nine participants, who were first-year students, and then each girl demonstrated their personal talents and skills. The audience was greatly impressed by their dancing, singing, and poetry recitation. In the end they selected the winner of the Audience's Choice, and the jury announced winners of the major nominations. Anastasia Mozgovaya received the title of “Miss Charm”, and Ekaterina Matyukhina became “Vice Miss Physics 2016”. Irina Desyatnichenko was awarded the prize for first place.
