Results of cooperation between the university and OOO FPK Kosmos-Neft-Gaz

On 1 November, Voronezh State University completed the second stage of an integral project implemented in collaboration with Kosmos-Neft-Gaz “Creating hi-tech production of efficient multifunctional membrane units for high purity hydrogen evolution”. The project is conducted within the framework of the Decree of the Russian Government No 218 of 9.04.2010. The project was supervised by the head of the Department of Materials Science and the Industry of Nanosystems at the Faculty of Chemistry of VSU, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Valentin Ievlev.

The research team successfully tested a laboratory membrane unit which was created as a result of the project. The next stage includes the production and testing of a prototype membrane unit.
