The staff of the International Student Exchange Office of Voronezh State University, the heads of the programme “The System of Curators for VSU foreign students 'Buddy Club'”, and the volunteers of the projects, believe that you should never stop developing. That is why they organise training sessions for volunteers interested in working with international students who study at VSU.
The success of every event depends on organisers who need to remember lots of things and make all the necessary arrangements. That is why the first training session that was held between 11 and 13 October was dedicated to time management. The head of International Student Exchange Office, Natalia Ushkova, told the audience how to distribute your time, what things are of most importance, and how to do everything on time.
The second training session, that was held on 1 November, concentrated on the organisation of events. What makes a leader? What they should do and how they should do it if they want their event to be successful. The participants had a very interesting conversation with the invited coach, Alexandre Volobuev. Each person had a chance to ask questions and learn something new.
The members of the Buddy Club enjoyed the training sessions a lot. The organisers of the programme are planning to conduct another workshop dedicated to simultaneous interpreting.
