Google’s interactive map consists of satellite images acquired between 1984 and 2016.
Google has updated its Timelapse - a global video that lets you see how the Earth has changed over the past 32 years, like the growth of cities, melting of glaciers, etc.
The map combines over 5 million satellite images acquired between 1984 and 2016. Among other places, it also shows Voronezh. You can use the following link to see how our city looked like, when its density was lower, without its numerous shopping malls, or how the size of the Voronezh Reservoir has been getting smaller due to constant land reclamation.
