On 2 March, a picture exhibition “Flowers, etc.” by Lyudmila Proskurina was opened in the second-floor hall of the main building.
Lyudmila Proskurina is a teacher at the Department of Design of the Institute of Culture and Arts of Voronezh State Pedagogical University. She frequently organises master classes and artistic workshops, and takes part in Voronezh, regional, and national exhibitions. She employs various artistic techniques and methods, but most often she prefers watercolours and batik (Javanese dyeing). Many of her works are now parts of private collections both in Russia and abroad.
At VSU Lyudmila exhibited her watercolour still life paintings and landscapes. The exhibition was opened by Rector Dmitry Endovitsky, who said that he admires Lyudmila Proskurina’s paintings, and pointed out a historical bond between Voronezh State University and Voronezh State Pedagogical University, which separated from VSU in 1931. The rector also congratulated all the women on the International Women's Day.
