On 30 March, Mr. Hantano, the executive director of OTSL corporation, gave a lecture as part of the partnership agreement between DSR Corporation & OTSL, Inc. (Japan) and the Faculty of Computer Sciences of VSU. The lecture was held in room 479 of the Main Building.
In his lecture “Working with software technologies” Mr. Hantano talked about various aspects of software development. He also emphasised the importance of standardisation of software architecture development and description. He told the audience about the techniques and methods adopted by OTSL and pointed out that what a professional engineer often needs is the ability to stick to logic when developing any software.
DSR Corporation & OTSL, Inc. give such lectures on a regular basis at its Embedded-Systems Software Technologies Training Centre at the Faculty of Computer Sciences of VSU. The Centre’s main objective is to train specialists in the area of embedded-systems development in accordance with the requirements of the software industry in Japan, the USA, and Taiwan.
