On 30 March, this term’s first English-Russian language tandem was held in order for students to practice their foreign language speaking skills. The tandem was organised by the Centre for International Academic Mobility of the International Cooperation Department of VSU and the Buddy Club volunteers.
Among the participants were students from Austria, Spain, and Belgium, currently studying at VSU as part of an academic exchange programme, a VSU student from Angola, as well as students of VSU and other Voronezh universities who wanted to practice their English. The event included various games and communication activities that allowed the participants to learn more about each other’s lives, interests, and even dreams. The meeting was held both in English and in Russian. The participants told funny stories, jokes, and anecdotes.
At the request of the participants, the Buddy Club volunteers will organise another language tandem. Everyone is welcome!
