On 5 July, a delegation from Qinghai province (China) visited Voronezh State University as a part of their visit to the Voronezh region. The Rector of VSU, Dmitry Endovitsky, and other representatives of the university administration and the academic and teaching staff welcomed the guests in the main university building.

The goal of the visit was to establish cooperation between the Voronezh region and the Qinghai province; to invite Russian students to enrol on training and retraining programmes at Qinghai University, which is among the top 100 Chinese universities (including in the area of the environmental protection); and to sign an agreement regarding academic exchanges for students and teaching staff. Dmitry Endovitsky supported the initiatives and assured the Chinese colleagues that Voronezh State University is ready to become a key link between Voronezh universities and universities from the Qinghai province.
