A student from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of Voronezh State University, Maksim Glazykin, is developing a home-made device for diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for almost any type of modern cars. His project “Universal CAR DIS automobile diagnostics and repairs suit” received a 120,000 roubles grant at the annual contest held between Voronezh universities "Innovation cup – 2016”.
Maksim Glazykin has been involved in car repairs and diagnostics for 10 years. The suit, the student is working on, will be considerably cheaper than buying all the necessary devices separately as the only equipment it needs is a laptop. The cost of works implemented by means of the new device will be much lower as it requires less time on troubleshooting.
