According to the results of an Erasmus+ contest Voronezh State University received six new academic mobility agreements.
Currently, VSU is implementing 17 Erasmus+ academic mobility agreements with universities from Germany (Martin Luther University and the University of Göttingen), Austria (FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences), Belgium (Catholic University of Leuven and Artesis Plantijn University College), France (University Lille I), Spain (the University of Leon, the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and the University of Girona), Portugal (the Consortium of Polytechnic Universities of Portugal), Greece (the University of Patras and Piraeus University of Applied Sciences), Croatia (the University of Zagreb), Poland (Lublin University of Technology and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), Hungary (the University of Debrecen), and Slovakia (Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra).
Erasmus agreements stipulate the coverage of travelling expenses, scholarships for VSU students, lecturers and administrative staff for mobility programmes in European universities.
According to the results of 2016–2017 academic year, over 40 students and 12 lecturers received Erasmus scholarships and had internships abroad and about 20 students and 11 lecturers from European partner universities did internships at VSU.
Over 40 student scholarships and 35 scholarships for lecturers and VSU staff are planned in the new academic year in the framework of Erasmus agreements. In its turn, our university is going to offer training and internships to 30 students and 20 lecturers from European partner universities.
Now the faculties need to adjust the curricula to implement Erasmus exchange programmes.
