The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of Voronezh State University, Alexander Shashkin, and the Head of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Applied Information Technologies, Tatiana Ledeneva, paid a visit to the University of Caldas (Manizales, Colombia).
During the visit, the representatives of VSU had a meeting with the administration of the University of Caldas and discussed the development of cooperation between the universities.
Alexander Shashkin and Tatiana Ledeneva took part in the 16th JORNADAS DE INGENIERIA conference where they gave plenary presentations. They also visited the students centre at the university campus, the university’s veterinary hospital Hospital Veterinario Diego Villegas Toro, anthropological and archaeological laboratories, the centre for bioinformatics and computational biology BIOS, and the innovation centre Centro de Investigacion, Innovacion, Desarrollo y Transferencia de Tecnologia.
The friendly visit to Colombia was organised with the participation of the graduate of Voronezh State University and the Dean of the Faculty of History at the University of Caldas, Ricardo Alberto Castanio Zapata, and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies, Marcelo Lopez Trujillio.
