The QS World University Rankings published a ranking of the top universities of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). This year, Voronezh State University took 128th place among the best universities of the BRICS countries, and the 31rst place among the universities in Russia.
The ranking is based on eight criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, staff with a PhD, papers per faculty, citations per paper, international faculty, and international students.
This year the ranking listed 300 best universities of the BRICS countries, including 68 Russian universities.
