On 14 February, a music festival was held at the VSU concert hall to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This year the concert was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of VSU. It was organised by the community of Vietnamese students, Voronezh Regional Vietnamese Organisation, and the VSU International Education Institute. Prior to the concert, guests could also see an exhibition of souvenirs from Vietnam and try Vietnamese dishes cooked by the organisers.

The concert opened with welcoming speeches by the Chair of Voronezh Regional Vietnamese Organisation, Pham Ngoc Chung, and the Head of the Institute of International Education of VSU, Vladimir Rodionov. The concert itself included performances by students from Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Congo, and Russia. The audience greatly enjoyed the colourful national costumes, beautiful songs, and dances by Vietnamese students, who received a long-lasting applause.
