On 12 March, senior officers of the Military University of Culture and Arts of the People's Army of Vietnam visited Voronezh State University, where they were welcomed by Rector Dmitry Endovitsky and other university representatives.
“The friendship and partnership between our countries, between universities in Vietnam and Russia, are very valuable to us. I am glad you managed to come to VSU in order to discuss the possibility of Vietnamese students coming here to study at the “Military Journalism” programme,” – said the rector.
During their visit, the Vietnamese delegation wanted to learn more about Voronezh and the system of higher education in the region. They also got detailed information about Voronezh State University and its academic programmes, and the “Military Journalism” programme in particular.
Dmitry Endovitsky and Ngyen Xuan Thu, Rector of the Military University of Culture and Arts of the People's Army of Vietnam, signed a memorandum of understanding. It is aimed at developing student and academic staff exchange programmes, as well as joint research projects.
The Vietnamese delegation also visited the VSU History Museum and Book Museum, the Faculty of Military Education, the Faculty of Journalism, and the International Education Institute. They expressed hope for fruitful partnership with Voronezh State University.
