On 10 April, as a part of an Erasmus + project professors from Slovak University (Nitra) gave lectures at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of Voronezh State University. Marian Kováček gave a talk under the title “Land Market in EU Countries (on the example of Slovakia)” and Martin Maris discussed “Environmental Policy of the EU Countries and the Slovak Republic.
The lectures attracted a lot of interest among undergraduate and postgraduate students and lectures from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Sciences. At the moment, a team of researchers from the Department of Ecology and Land Resources of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences headed by the Head of the department, Professor Tatiana Devyatova, are implementing three international projects which contribute to advancing the qualification of the lecturers and also provide students with an opportunity to do a part-time course in the leading universities of Europe (Slovakia, Italy, Holland, and Germany).
According to the Vice Rector for Research and Innovations and the Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Sciences, Vasily Popov, internationalisation of environmental education is an important strategic task for the faculty.
