VSU representatives exchange their experiences regarding implementation of European projects

Delegation of Voronezh State University took part in the conference “Enhancing European Research” organised by the European commission in Moscow and dedicated to the implementation of Jean Monnet projects within Erasmus+ programme.

The conference became a platform for organisation of a network of coordinators and participants of Jean Monnet projects in Russia and Eastern European countries and for exchange of experience regarding implementation of projects. Voronezh State University is the leader in Russia by the number of Jean Monnet grants (7) and its experience was valuable and demanded by the participants of the conference.

VSU’s delegation comprised of the Director of the International Project and Programme Centre, Alla Akulshina, the Head of the Department of French Philology of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, the coordinator of the project “European Identity in Terms of Language Policy of the European Union”, Professor Elena Alexeyeva, the participants of the project “Migration in the European Union: Concerns and Prospects” – Associate Professor at the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies (the Faculty of International Relations), Natalia Zhurbina and Associate Professor of the Department of Culture Studies (the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology), Elena Yakushkina, and the participants of the project “Reducing Shadow Economy: Adapting European Experience in Russia” (SHEXP) – Associate Professor at the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies, Dmitry Lomsadze, and the lecturer at the Department of International Economics and International Business, Alexander Boldyrikhin.

Alla Akulshina and Natalia Zhurbina took part in plenary sessions of the conference. Alla Akulshina presented the results of the project “European Approach for Russia: For and Against” in the panel “General Challenges: Economy and International Relations” and Natalia Zhurbina shared her experience regarding the implementation of the Educational Module “Migration in the European Union: Concerns and Prospects” in the panel “General challenges: Migration.”
