The final stage of the youth artistic festival “Russian Students’ Spring” took place in Stavropol. About 1,000 representatives of Russian universities and colleges take part in this event every year.
They compete in music, dancing, performing, and circus art. This year, about 3,000 young people from all over the country participated in the final, which ended with a great closing concert.
Students of Voronezh State University participate in the festival every year. This time they won four awards of the Russian Students’ Spring festival.
The VSU dance team “Top Rate” became a first-degree laureate in the “Street Dancing (Hip-hop)” and a second-degree laureate in “Street Dancing (Contemporary)” with the dances “Everyone’s way” and “Home is where...”. The VSU team also won a special prize of the video competition in the “Role play” category for their video “Awful editing”. Our students also won a special prize for their performance “Art of Coming to Life” in the nomination “Original performance”. The organising committee of the festival also presented an award to the rector, Dmitry Endovitsky, for promoting student activities and supporting youth social initiatives.
Next year’s final of the festival will take place in Perm. Those who want to take part in the final will have to go through a number of qualifying stages.
