Dokuz Eylül University (Izmir, Turkey) held the XI International Week participated in by representatives of universities from Russia, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, and other European countries.
Voronezh State University was represented by Irina Foret, Associate professor at the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies, and Alexander Boldyrikhin, lecturer at the Department of International Economics and International Business.
Irina Foret gave a series of lectures on current conflicts and problems and the ways to solve them. The lectures were part of the Erasmus+ programme within Jean Monnet Actions “Refugee Law: European Standards and Experience and Their Meaning for Russia”. Alexander Boldyrikhin gave a lecture “Business in Russia – history, trends, and development prospects” as part of the project “EU Experience in Fighting Shadow Economy as Applied in Russia”.
Our representatives also had a meeting with members of the Department of International Cooperation of Dokuz Eylül University, the Faculty of International Relations, and the Faculty of International Business and Trade. They discussed the prospects of developing further partnership between our universities. The meeting agreed on submission of a joint application for Erasmus+ contest and launching academic mobility programmes for students. Next academic year, three students of Dokuz Eylül University will do a one-term course at VSU.
