A student sports festival was held in Anapa. It included the final stage of the national Championship of the Association of student sports clubs (ASSC) and the final stage of the academic project “ASSC.pro”.
Over 1,000 students that were selected during the previous two stages participated in the event, including 27 students from Voronezh State University. The festival included a number of academic programmes for students and university members responsible for student affairs. The National Final of the Championship of the Russian ASSC included competitions in 5 sports – volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, and chess. There were also over 50 webinars on various topics – from marketing in sports to organising events.
The organisers of the festival praised the best participants among whom were our students – members of VSU’s sports club “Khitschnye Bobry” (Rapacious Beavers), Igor Kotok, Bogdan Svischev, and Sergey Mishin.
“Khitschnye Bobry” is one of the most active and initiative organisations of the Joint Students' Board of VSU. They actively participate in academic and artistic events and enjoy support of the university’s administration. The results of such a collaboration were highly praised at the Championship of Russian ASSC.
