On 9 May, the traditional Immortal Regiment march took place in Voronezh. This year, the event gathered a record number of participants – about 50,000 people.
Columns of people started in Dzerdzhinsky street, marched along Plekhanov street, passed by the reviewing stands on the Lenin square, round the Koltsov park and along the Prospek Revolutsii avenue.
Traditionally, the representatives of Voronezh State University included the Rector of the university, Dmitry Endovitsky, the vice-rector for Student Affairs and Social Development, Oleg Grishayev, VSU’s staff, and students.
