On 31 May and 1 June, representatives from the Faculty of Strategic Communications of the University of Oklahoma (USA), Sky Cooley and Asya Cooley, paid a visit to Voronezh State University.
On 31 May, the Head of the International Cooperation Administration, Oleg Belenov, had a meeting with the guests from university where he told them about international projects and programmes implemented by the university.
The goal of the visit was to discuss opportunities of academic exchange for students and academic staff as a part of the master's programme "Global Research" implemented in the University of Oklahoma. In May 2019, the first group of American students are expected to complete internships at the Faculty of International Relations and lecturers from the University of Oklahoma will give lecturers and workshops.
On 1 June, the guests of the university met representatives of the Faculties of Journalism, Romance and Germanic Philology, History, Geography, Geoecology and Tourism, and International Relations at the Faculty of International Relations. During the meeting, the representatives from VSU presented their faculties and discussed opportunities of further cooperation between VSU and the University of Oklahoma.
