Danubius University is one of the creators of the first four regional clusters in Romania - IT cluster, navy cluster, green energy cluster, and healthcare cluster.

The meeting discussed the prospects of collaboration between the two universities in the sphere of healthcare and information technologies.

“I think we should consider other spheres of collaboration as well, besides various European programmes. For instance, we are very interested in IT. Jointly with VSU we will be able to develop a large number of projects in the sphere and attract various sources of funding. IT in healthcare is also of high potential. Together we can achieve success in those spheres”, said Andy Corneliu Pusca.

Dmitry Endovitsky emphasised the importance of collaboration both within the European programmes and academic exchange, and in new breakthrough research areas. He also told the guests about the innovative projects implemented at VSU.

The guests also had meetings with the Head of the VSU Department of Innovations and Enterprise Management Alexey Kharin, members of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Computer Sciences, and visited VSU’s research laboratories.
