5th children's swimming tournament took place in the VSU swimming pool. The event was dedicated to VSU’s centenary.
About 300 swimmers took part in the competition. All children are trained by trainers from the VSU swimming pool. The jury of the tournament included the veterans of the swimming club "Spartak". Of great interest to the audience were the medley relays. This sport event, promoting a healthy lifestyle, stirred a lot of positive emotions. All the participants of the tournament received certificates and badges, and the winners were awarded with medals.
It should be noted that VSU’s swimming pool is the best equipped facility of the Central Black Earth Region. It is included in the Russian registry of sports facilities. It uses a certified system for measuring the length of the swimming lanes, which is required for the registration of national, European, and world records, and also has an electronic time-tracking system with the computer-aided recording of results.
