Representatives of a branch of the Rosatom Emergency Centre pay a visit to VSU

On 5 April, a working meeting was held between the Rector of the university, Dmitry Endovitsky, the Head of the VSU Department of Innovations and Enterprise Management, Dmitry Zhukalin, Associate Professor of the Department of Nuclear Physics, Viktor Vakhtel, and a delegation of the Novovoronezh branch of the Rosatom Emergency Centre, represented by the Director, Roman Chekmaryev, and the Senior Spectroscomy Engineer, Sergey Apasov.

The participants agreed that the cooperation between the institutions is mutually beneficial. The parties expressed their interest in continuing and developing cooperation in the following three areas: radiation safety, robotic system management, and using VSU's capacities in the area of artificial intelligence to solve the company’s applied problems. It was agreed to create a “roadmap”.
