On 13 May, volleyball competitions between educational institutions of higher education of the Voronezh region concluded. It was the second municipal stage of the Interuniversity Universiade of the Voronezh region 2018–19.
138 athletes from 9 educational institutions of higher education took part in the women's tournament. VSU's team took first place, the team from Voronezh State Technical University came second, and the team from Voronezh State Pedagogical University were third.
144 athletes from 10 educational institutions of higher education took part in the men's tournament. VSU's team took third place, the team from Voronezh State Technical University were first, and the team from Voronezh State Pedagogical University came third.
The teams are coached by a professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of VSU, Elena Stcheglova. We congratulate our team and wish him every success and a lot of new victories!
