Coaches from the university swimming pool show good results at the Russian swimming championship

The 28th Russian MASTERS swimming championship took place in Obninsk. 724 swimmers aged between 25 and 95 took part in the event. The tournament was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Masters movement in Russia. Three coaches from the swimming pool of VSU took part in the national competitions: Ludmila Bukhtayeva, Natalia Ismailova, and Yuri Perin.

Natalia Ismailova became the champion of Russia in the 50-meter backstrokes and a silver medal winner in the women's swimming relays. At the Russian Masters Championship, VSU staff member, Yury Perin was an authorised representative of the Swimming Federation "Masters". Yury also took par in the competitions as an athlete and became the champion of Russia and a threefold silver prize winner.

At the electoral conference, Yury Perin was elected a member of the Praesidium of the Masters Russian federation for 4 years.
