Between 20 and 22 May, the Russian lapta competition was held at the stadium of Voronezh State Technological University in the framework of the Universiade of the Voronezh Region 2018–2019.
Teams of six universities took part in the competition: Voronezh State Technological University, Voronezh State University, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, Voronezh State Pedagogical University, Voronezh State Technical University, and Voronezh State Forest Engineering University. The team from Voronezh State Technical University won the competition, Voronezh State Technological University took second place, and Voronezh State University took third.
