The results of the Voronezh Region Universiade 2018–2019 have been announced. The 240 teams participating in the universiade represented ten Voronezh universities. The total number of participants was 2,800. Teams from Voronezh State Technical University, Voronezh State University, Voronezh State Institute of Physical Training, Voronezh State Pedagogical University, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, Voronezh State Technological University, Voronezh State Medical University, Voronezh State Forest Engineering University, Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation, and Voronezh Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service competed in 29 different sports.
The places were awarded as follows:
- 1st place – Voronezh State Technical University;
- 2nd place – Voronezh State University;
- 3rd place – Voronezh State Institute of Physical Training.
18 of our students also won individual prizes including:
- four 1st place prizes,
- three 2nd place prizes,
- and eleven 3rd place prizes.
