On 14 October, Voronezh State University and Softline signed a cooperation agreement. The parties agreed about cooperation aimed at the enhancement of the quality of education and the development of research and cultural activities.
The agreement between VSU and Softline stipulates joint educational, research, and science and technology projects, events, fundamental and applied research in the area of education, innovative activities, cooperation in the area professional training and employment of students completing IT programmes.
“IT specialists are in high demand not only in our region but on the global market. I am sure that IT technologies will be at the heart of a new research centre in the Voronezh region. Softline has been a trusted partner of ours for many years. We hope that our fruitful cooperation will expand in the future,” said VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
“The digital transformation is not possible without a transformation of educational institutions and training of qualified IT specialists. Softline pays a lot of attention to educational projects: we contribute to the creation of Kvantoriums, introduce innovative technologies in schools and universities, and serve as experts in educational projects. Our company has been involved in cooperation with VSU for over five years. This agreement will become a new stage in the development of our collaboration. We are going to contribute more to the digitalisation of the university and its educational projects, including the project "The Innovation League". We will help VSU train IT specialists for employment on a new labour market,” said Roman Selivanov, Softline’s Head of the Department for Cooperation with State and Academic Organisations in Central Federal District.
