On 12 November, Moscow State University held the first Russian-British forum of university rectors. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Grigory Trubnikov.
The forum, was organised by the British Embassy in the Russian Federation, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the British Council, and the Russian Rectors' Union. It was participated in by 100 rectors and representatives from various universities in Britain and Russia, including the rector of Voronezh State University, Dmitry Endovitsky.
On the first day of the event, the delegates considered the current level of partnership between Russian and British universities. Dmitry Endovitsky gave a talk “Voronezh State University - partnership with UK universities”.
On the second day, the event took place at the British Embassy, with various panels discussing measures that can be taken to strengthen partnerships between universities and intensify academic exchange programmes.
