The coaches of the university swimming pool, Natalia Ismailova, Ludmila Bukhtaeva, and Yury Perin, took part in the 26th Russian Masters Cup as a part of the Voronezh team “Spartak”. The tournament was held in the sport facility “Start” in Saransk.
The staff members of Voronezh State University won 10 medals of various denominations. Natalia Ismailova was a bronze medal winner in the 100-meter backstroke and won a silver medal in the medley relay. Ludmila Bukhtaeva took second place in the 100-meter breaststroke and in the medley relay. Yury Perin won a gold medal in the 200-meter backstroke, silver medals in the 50-meter and 100-meter backstroke and the 200-meter free style, and two bronze medals in medley relays.
