Last December was full of memorable events for Top Rate, a dancing team of Voronezh State University.
Between 1 and 8 December, the national dancing festival DANCEWAVE 10 took place in Ryazan. The festival was dedicated to street dances and modern choreography. Among its organisers was Art-Rise Project, a partner of the Hollywood dance team Millennium.
The thirty-people strong team called Top Rate took first place in the nomination Lady Styles Show, second place in the nomination Best Dance Show Profi, and third place in Street Show Adults.
Between 13 and 15 December, Top Rate became the winner of another tournament, the 8th Open National Modern Dance Championship MOVING STAR which was held in Yaroslavl.
“I can’t describe what I’m feeling. This is the coolest championship of the season: star judges, the strongest teams! 21 teams competed against each other in our nomination. This is the most important victory and we’ve been working hard for it!” said Alexey Goncharov, the Head of the dancing studio.
At the festival Project818 Russian Dance Festival 2019 in Moscow, the team took fifth place and was among ten best teams in the nomination Profi.
