On 24 January, Voronezh State University celebrated Students' Day. Traditionally, Student Affairs and Social Department of VSU organised a dessert for students in three university buildings.
Oleg Grishayev, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development, congratulated students and wished them to pass all the exams.
“This is a very good tradition. We have just taken our programming exam and half of our group didn’t have to really take it as we were assessed based on our results during the term. We were walking happily along the corridor when we saw the party! It was so unexpected and nice. The first term was quite successful for me. Sometimes there were some difficulties but I managed to cope with all of them. I wish students would not be frightened and to pass all their exams without much whimpering. I know some people who get nervous as soon as they hear the word “exam”. And then it appears that it wasn’t that awful,” said Alina Sladkomyedova, a first student from the Faculty of Computer Sciences.
“I’m in a great mood! I like studying at VSU. There are a lot of nice and kind people here. We have fantastic teachers who know how to motivate you! I wish students to be hard-working, thoughtful, and pass all their exams!” said Nikita Zhidkikh, a student from the Faculty of Geology.
