The results of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Global Research University Profiles − GRUP) have been published. The ranking is based on the results of a survey conducted at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (ShanghaiRanking Consultancy) in 2019. Voronezh State University was again among the world best universities. It should be noted that to date it has been the only university in the Central Black Earth Region represented in the ranking.
GRUP is based on the data provided by universities and third parties. It compares universities in various areas and/or geographical groups by 35 parameters, with regard to students, lectures, and resources.
ShanghaiRanking Consultancy is a fully independent organisation analysing higher education data and conducting research in the area of higher education intellect. It has been the official publisher of Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) since 2009.
